ABS-CBN together with Precious Hearts Romance is proud to present "Hiyas", an upcoming Romantic Drama TV Series to be aired by ABS-CBN. Hiyas will be premiered this coming May 28, 2012 replacing its Kapamilya Gold Timeslot Wako Wako. This is actually their first ever romantic teamup, Megan Young (formerly a PBB Celebrity Housemate and TV Host) will portray her first daring role for the entire Hiyas Series together Zanjoe Marudo (a former PBB Celebrity Housemate and Actor/Model), Mercedes Cabral (an Indie Film Princess), and Edward Mendez (an Actor/Model rumored to have linked with Dra. Vicki Belo). Synopsis: Silang (Zanjoe Marudo), a native warrior from Tanah Tribe who wanted to marry his childhood friend Giana (Mercedes Cabral). The Father of Giana gave one condition to Silang before He could marry Giana. The condition was to find and bring back the missing gem of Tanah. This gem is believed to give luck and prosperity to their people. While on the journey to find the gem of Tanah, He met Sapphire (Megan Young), a beautiful, intelligent, and rich young woman who was ditched by her supposed to be husband Aldrich (Edward Mendez) on their wedding day.
